TRANSFORMATIONS™ - Wellness and Weight Management Program

Health Assessments

Each client receives a comprehensive, medically supervised diagnostic evaluation using state-of-the-art health assessment equipment along with personal attention from the Transformations clinical staff. This includes:

  • A medical history review
  • Treadmill stress test
  • The scale weight
  • The waist-to-hip ratio
  • A TSH (thyroid) hormone test
  • A lipid profile
  • An insulin profile
  • The BMR (body mass ratio)
  • A behavior profile
  • Fitness assessment

Results will be evaluated to create a highly personalized program accommodating the individual’s physiology and lifestyle. Staff members will work with each participant to determine a goal weight, a diet and exercise strategy, a support team and issues that need to be examined to ensure success. Staff members will recommend an optimal weight, taking into consideration lean body mass and desired body fat. They will also recommend nutrition based on health and longevity studies.

Personalization in the program extends to measurements of physiology. Evaluation of each participant’s BMR will include the resting metabolic rate. The goal weight will take into account the individual’s body composition. Evaluation of the treatment response will account for each person's insulin level. And participants will use BalanceLog software to track their calories, nutrients and exercise relative to nutrition and weight goals based on individual metabolism.
